Robin's drawing - January 6, 2011
My 5-year-old son came to me yesterday evening saying "Mummy, I have drawn a Johnny for you!" with a beaming smile on his face.
Ironically, he has included the striped jersey which Breton onion sellers have never actually worn -until very recently to comply with their clients' expectations, but which, for some reason (which I am painstakingly investigating), seems to be a defining ingredient in British representations.
